Business owner by day, golden retriever buddy by night (all the time really)? I love my home office and my four legged office buddy/mascot/cookie junkie.
Working from a home office isn’t for everyone, but for me it is The Best thing I’ve done in my career. I worked remotely for a company for many years before I started my own business. Once I’d lived the no-commute life, there was no going back. And as a bonus, my dog brings me toys and puts her head on my lap when I start yelling at my computer after reading a particularly annoying email. It is hard to stay mad when a golden retriever stares at you adoringly.

The soundtrack of my life includes 80s hair bands, all things Celtic, guitar players, soulful jazz and plenty of show tunes. Rap, nope… most country songs, also nope… but I have a special place in my heart for John Denver, much to my husband’s chagrin.
